FAE is expanding its RCU series with an exciting, new RCU-75 model. The compact, powerful, remote-controlled tracked carrier is designed to work on hard-to-access areas and steeply-sloping terrain. In fact, the RCU-75 is capable of mulching vegetation up to 6" in diameter while climbing slopes up to 55 degrees.

Specifically designed to improve onsite operator safety and operating efficiency, the RCU-75 is an excellent option for hilly, wooded areas; power lines, gas and oil pipeline rights-of-way, highway, forestry and land clearing applications … and many more.
A 74-horsepower, KOHLER KDI 2504, turbocharged and after-cooled engine powers the RCU-75. The engine—coupled with a heavy-duty undercarriage, high-profile rubber tracks, oscillating rollers and triple-flange style idlers—drives premium traction in the most challenging conditions. High-tech solutions also combine to give the RCU unbeatable traction, enabling it to work on the steepest of slopes.
Dual, hydrostatic transmission also provides optimal traction and management of the attachment. Electronically-controlled piston pumps combined with a dedicated electronic control unit provide an integrated technological system. The result is high performance and reliability that lasts, plus simple and intuitive operation.
The RCU-75’s comfortable, easy-to-use, remote-control unit features a large 3.5" display with customizable function keys. A 2.4 GHz transmission frequency ensures reliable communication.
The RCU-75 can be paired with the BL2/RCU mulcher, designed to mulch vegetation up to 6" in diameter. The BL2/RCU mulcher’s fixed tooth rotor and Bite Limiter technology provide higher productivity with less horsepower due to low power absorption.
